About Us
I would like to take this oppotunity to introduce myself, my name is Ken Bacon.
About ten years ago i bought my first Russian Watch, a simple poljot unisex watch with an automatic mechanical movement but that was the beginning of my passion for collecting Russian Watches.
I often get asked why I collect Russian Watches, and I cannot really give an answer. I think it is that we live in an age of high-tech electronic gadgets and to own something that has been made by hand in a traditional way gives the watch a sort of soul that seems to connect with me, it's not like owning a PC or Laptop. Another attraction is that many of the watches have links with the history of Russia... like space flight, military connections or the culture of the country.
I also have been an avid collector of the Limited Edition Russian Watches and in all I have around thirty watches in my collection some Poljot, Vostock, CCCP and Moscow Classic.
I hope you enjoy browsing the site i will be adding more watches as they become available and will endeavour to keep our prices as competitive as possible.
